My Teaching Philosophy

Yoga meets you where you are—and my classes are designed with that in mind. You'll be invited to tune into your body, move mindfully, and cultivate a practice that feels both joyful and sustainable. Each session is thoughtfully crafted to support you in discovering ease, clarity, and strength—on the mat and in everyday life. I love weaving playfulness into creative flows, using fun yet challenging sequences to explore and expand our perceived limitations. I truly believe yoga has the power to transform us—mentally, physically, and beyond.

What do I offer?

 Based in Douglas, Isle of Man - I teach a variety of group classes, ensuring there's something for everyone, whether you're just starting out or have been practicing for years. If you prefer a more personalized experience, I also offer private yoga classes from my home studio in Douglas - tailored to meet your individual goals and needs.

Private Yoga

Group classes aren't for everyone. Whether you're new to yoga, working with an injury, or looking to deepen your practice, one-on-one classes offer a supportive space to move at your own pace and focus on what matters most to you.

I offer a range of group classes designed to support every body and every mood—from slow, grounding yin-inspired flows to strong, dynamic vinyasa. Whether you're seeking deep rest or ready to explore arm balances and more advanced transitions, there’s space for you here. Each class is an invitation to connect, challenge yourself, and move with intention in a supportive group setting.

Workshops / Events

My workshops offer a chance to dive deeper into specific aspects of the practice—whether it's refining your alignment, building toward arm balances, or exploring themes like breath, mindfulness, and mobility. These extended sessions create space for curiosity, growth, and connection, giving you the tools to enrich your practice both on and off the mat.

Meet Your Teacher

Ella Garvey

I’ve been practicing yoga for over nine years, and it first found me during a time when I felt lost and needed to reconnect with myself. What began as a search for clarity quickly became a sanctuary - as well as a space to rediscover the joy of movement I knew from my years growing up as a dancer. Yoga has supported me through life’s many seasons, and it’s this sense of transformation, presence, and play that I now love to share with others.
